KBRN, Jakarta: The photos Roof works by Natasha Dematra recently won the best picture at the Los Angeles Cinefest event in Los Angeles, California, United States.
The Roof depicts an Indonesian worker who had to fight with hard risk in life to work on the house roof.
This photo is a portrait of the social situation the people of Indonesia are still struggling to living. This photo previously been exhibited in solo exhibitions by Natasha Dematra which took place in January in the Auditorium of Radio Republik Indonesia, and won a lot of appreciation from various circles.
The Roof is one of the prime Natasha works in the field of photography. Earlier, Natasha Dematra better known as the world's youngest female director, artist, singer, songwriter, film producer, editor, Ambassador of Women, Human Rights Ambassador, and the Ambassador DKR (Creative People's Council).
Natasha has won more than 100 awards in these fields.
"I feel very happy for this achievement, because this worked with in the name of Indonesia at the international world, and that was makes it very memorable because this was my first work in the field of photography, and immediately received international awards," commented young women with aged 17 years.
The other of photographic works by Natasha is The Waves, Dance of the Lights, Get Ready, Three Gondolas, Ray of Lights, Alone, Phone, Tumbling Down, etc.
These pictures tells a lot about the beauty of Indonesia and social issues with the diversity of Indonesian society.
