The History Of Dracula

The name " Dracula " is often synonymous with the term " vampire " .
Just what is a vampire ? According to The American Heritage ® Dictionary ( fourth edition by Houghton Mifflin Company ) ,
a vampire portrayed as one of the following :

A living corpse that is believed to rise from the grave at night to suck the blood of sleeping people .
Person , such as an extortionist , who preys on others .
A vampire bat .

Prince Vlad Dracula was born in Schäßburg ( now called Sighisoara ) , a small town in Transylvania ( now known as northern Romania ) in 1431 . The house where he was born , is still standing intact in Sighisoara . It is a fortress , but only modest three-story home .

 He was named after his father Vlad Dracul , who became members of the Order of the Dragon . This is an order established by the Holy Roman Emperor to defeat the purpose of Turkey, which is trying to conquer Europe at the time . The name " Dracul " which means dragon or devil , was taken by his father , when he joined the Order , the same year the prince Vlad was born . He later added the name of his son -a , which means " Son of the Dragon " . But as the young prince grew older , he became better known as the " Son of Satan " .

His father ruled over the territory of Romania known as Wallachia South , and to maintain his power , he had to ally with powerful people . But he is a master very reliable, which is constantly changing its allies . To begin with he was against Turkey , then he suddenly changed policy and join them for a short time . This behavior may not be relied upon is the reason why the Sultan of Turkey ordered the arrest of his two sons , Prince Dracula and his Son.

 1447 Prince Vlad Dracula 's father was killed by some of his own , and the year after , the prince , now seventeen , was released from prison . He was sent back home to rule Wallachia , but in return he had to obey the Sultan in Constantinople . But he was ousted , by a rival and had to flee , before he can claim the throne in 1456 back again . The first thing he did , was to build a fort for safety . With the help of a few hundred noble family was arrested in his country , who had worked as slaves simply, he got to build his stronghold high in the mountains , close to the northern city of Wallachia Tirgoviste .

Now six years after the terror begins . First he avenge his father's death , then he got rid of all his enemies in the massacre of the infinite. Several thousand people were killed in Wallachia and neighboring countries . But the prince Dracula is not just killing people , he likes to see them suffer . His favorite method of torturing someone to death , was impalement .



Impalement of the execution is terrible . Victim stabbed in the leg with pole sleeves for adult male sharp edges , then lift straight up . The body weight will begin to drag them down , causing a sharp tip to pierce their internal organs with very slow . Vlad especially enjoyed mass executions , where several victims were impaled at once . In order to better enjoy the brutal acts , Vlad would place victims impaled , in front of the table and then will enjoy the sounds of people will die . It was a very brutal act , which earned the nickname " Tepes " , which in Romanian means " Impaler " .

It is thought that Prince Vlad Tepes was responsible for the deaths , more than a hundred thousand people in a few years . This figure , is including twenty- five thousand men , who died from impalement .

At 1462, because of his enemies , Vlad Tepes had to flee again . He fled to Hungary , the Transylvania Alps , with the hope of getting help from the Hungarian king Corvinus . But instead of getting some sort of help , he was convicted on a false accusation to imprisonment for twelve years . When he was released , he married the sister of the King of Hungary , and in November 1475 , he finally got help to get back in control of Wallachia .

But just a month later , Dracula was killed in battle against the Turks near Bucharest . After his death , fear and no doubt a brave soldier and then beheaded . Just to make people believe that he really is dead , his head was displayed in Constantinople . Then his body was buried in a monastery near Snagov in Romania . In a book titled " Dracule " , from 1488, was written only thirteen years after Vlad the Impaler died , he descried as a vampire !

A writer named Bram Stoker wrote a number of short stories and novels , but Bram Stoker mainly remembered for only one, the story of a vampire 's " Dracula " . Dracula was originally published in 1897 . Dracula was an immediate success , and is one of the most famous horror stories and the most popular ever written .

Jakarta Under Cover

When I was driving past the Casablanca road, I see something that I frequently see, That is little monkey! .. These animals most commonly used for a Street show.  looked employer is resting with the chains that bind this little monkey whose head was wearing a mask and sunglasses. I do not give a monkey's coins to the employer because I have given my money to other monkeys who also wears a mask on his head. Indonesian Orchid

The discovery of ceramic made of mixed metal mask of Goa Made, Made Village, District Kudu, Jombang, East Java, luring researchers world. Masks made of ceramic metal that is very rare in his day and there is no equal in the world.

While other masks are made from a mixture of clay, tin, and iron.

My dinner

Dinner today is my favorite food. There is fried rice and iced fruit. Fried rice consists of small pieces of meatballs, fried eggs, small pieces of shrimp, celery with onion seasoning, a little garlic, red chilli and shrimp paste that has been finely ground and fried with rice. For me it's really good food.
When finished eating fried rice, a dish of fruit followed by devouring ice consisting of a pumpkin that has been sliced ​​smaller and smaller pieces of fruit papaya mixed coconut water .. let's drink fresh fruit ice ..Dish dinner today is my favorite food. In 29 June 2013 we celebrate my cousin birthday  in Holycow Restaurant  at Kemang Raya Street, Jakarta.  The first menu served is grilled meat.  Apparently this restaurant is specialized in serving grilled meat. I ordered sirloan with spices that I do not know, I'm just saying given my order mayonnaise on grilled meats and grilled meats turns his servant said with spice like it does not exist, but that there is a barbeque spice, mushroom, and who knows what else. I then ordered the sirloin with barbecue spice. A few moments later the order came, I ate it and it turns out tender and delicious meat. I saw my cousin ate roast beef the same to me and it is mixed with mayonnaise. I ask my cousin what you ask for spice when ordering sirloin, He said do not know, I just asked the same as you but with mushroom spice, and it was a mushroom spice mix mushrooms with mayonnaise. U.S. and Indonesian Paratroopers Strengthen Cooperation

This year’s Garuda Shield exercise represents the largest and most complex training exercise ever conducted in the long-standing military relationship between the United States and Indonesia. 

Over the last two weeks, soldiers from the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and the Indonesian Army’s Kostrad Division 1 have participated in the annual Garuda Shield exercise which is designed to build relationships between the two armies and create familiarity through working together. 

The event includes a wide array of interoperability-focused events ranging from combined staff operations and computer-based simulation to small unit tactics training and live-fire exercises. 

The culmination activity and centerpiece of the 2013 Garuda Shield Exercise were multiple airborne operations conducted with U.S. and Indonesia paratroopers descending together onto a drop zone in the vicinity of Kostrad Division 1 Headquarters. 

This year almost 500 U.S. soldiers made the journey to Indonesia to take part in this important exercise and continue to develop our military-to-military linkages. The 2014 Garuda Shield, which is planned to be conducted with Kostrad Division 2 in Malang, will continue to enhance familiarity and introduce new areas of collaboration for our two armies to explore.

Ambassador Marciel Joins Opening of U.S.-Indonesia Military Exercise. 10 June 2013

U.S. Ambassador Scot Marciel joined Maj. Gen. Gary Hara, Deputy Commander for the Army National Guard, U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) Maj. Gen. Daniel Ambat, Kostrad Division 1 Commander, for the opening of the Garuda Shield exercise (GS) in Cilodong, Indonesia on June 10.  Garuda Shield is an annual Army-to-Army interoperability exercise is focused on building stronger relationships, sharing techniques, tactics and procedures, and building operational familiarity.

This year's Garuda Shield is the 7^th iteration of the exercise and represents the largest and most complex bilateral event ever conducted between the United States and Indonesian Armies. The exercise consists of four parts including a combined tactical operations center and staff process, computer planning exercise, intensive field exercise portion, and a combined airborne operation with the U.S. Army’s 82^ndAirborne Division. This is the 7^th iteration of the Garuda Shield exercise which is scheduled to conclude on June 21 at Kostrad Division 1 Headquarters.   The Garuda Shield exercise is the centerpiece of a series of exercises that are building greater cooperation under the U.S.-Indonesia Comprehensive Partnership. 

United States forces also participated Gema Bhakti combined Humanitarian Assistance Disaster Relief staff exercise at the International Peace and Security Center in Sentul, Indonesia from June 6-10.  The Gema Bhakti exercise brought together forces from U.S. Army Pacific Command, U.S. Navy and Air Force to work side-by-side personnel from the TNI to create response planning to assist Indonesia in responding more efficiently to a natural disaster.

Experts in various disaster relief fields discussed issues, emergency responders and support services, face during an emergency and provided insights which allowed roughly 100 participants from both militaries to brain storm ideas to support national and strategic level decision making processes.

As a further compliment to the Garuda Shield and Gema Bhakti exercises, Indonesia and the United States also conducted a Disaster Response Exercise & Exchange entitled Pacific Resilience.  Pacific Resilience, held from June 3-6 at the Indonesia Peace & Security Center in Sentul brought together USARPAC, TNI, Indonesian disaster response agencies, and U.S. agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). During the course of the exercise, over 150 participants gathered to focus on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.  The exercise was designed to simulate the response to an earthquake and tsunami impacting the area of Padang in western Sumatra.

Japanese Painting in Hanamasa

I found this painting in Hanamasa Restaurant,Giant Mall,Point Square.TB Simatupang street.  On the picture there is figure of girl playing Japanese Guitar.  She is learning and read the music book in front of Her.  Dress That she wearing called Yukata.  The Japanese Painting style is little different from Chinese Painting even look the same.  Chinese paintings drawn with a lot more style curved brush on each corner so that the robe or gown and shawl she used appear to form look a circle or wave.  I dont know who made this painting, on the top left, there is a word of Japanese called Kanji, and I can not translate it..Maybe you can visit Hanamasa restaurant and watching so seriously to understand that Kanji. thanks
